Express Alumni Report Volume 8

DIVISION I

Notre Dame 14, Syracuse 12
Our Alumni contributed in a big way on Saturday with a huge win over Syracuse. Chris Kavanagh and Pat Kavanagh each had three points on the day. Will Angrick posted a goal and an assist. Midfielder Reilly Gray found the back of the net twice. Face-off specialist Will Lynch dominated against the orange with nineteen face-off wins and eleven groundballs. He also managed to find the back of the net as well. Goalkeeper Liam Entenmann had eight saves on the day, including one sports center top ten save that was incredible.

Georgetown 15, Providence 10
Face-off specialist James Ball continues to dominate for the Hoyas with sixteen wins, going sixty-two percent on the day. He also managed to scoop up eleven ground balls win win over Providence.

Towson 9, Stony Brook 8
Senior Attackman Dylan Pallonetti found the back of the net five times on Saturday in game against Towson.

Boston U 22, Holy Cross 6
Holy Cross Attackman Matt Major posted a hat trick against a very strong Terriers defense. Midfielder Jimmy O’Connell found the back of the net twice for Boston. James Corcoran dished out an assist. Long stick midfielder Roy Meyer had a caused turnover and scooped up a groundball.

Villanova 9, Brown 5
Senior Midfielder Mason Reale was a huge threat against Brown on Monday. Reale found the back of the net twice in this game.

Sacred Heart 12, Marist 7
Senior Midfielder Morgan O’Reilly found the back of the net twice to help the Pioneers get the lead. Goalkeeper Alex Pazienza stood tall in net with eight saves in win over Marist.

DIVISION II

Mercy 21, St. Thomas Aquinas 2
Freshman Connor Abrahall had a great game for Mercy with two goals in win over St. Thomas Aquinas.

Lewis 19, Quincy 7
Lewis Midfielder Michael Metheny posted a goal and dished out an assist in win over Quincy.

Montevallo 19, Lander 16
Lander Express alumni Michael Mattalino found the back of the net in game against Montevallo.

Adelphi 12, Pace 6
Sophomore Midfielder Kyle Lewis had a two point performance with a goal and an assist in win over Pace.

Limestone 19, Anderson (SC) 12
Attackman Matthew Rodgers had another great game for Anderson with two goals in game against highly ranked Limestone.

Assumption 11, Southern New Hampshire 6
Goalkeeper Colin Malone could not be stopped last week for Assumption with eighteen saves on the day, going seventy-five percent against Southern New Hampshire.

DIVISION III

Tufts 17, Colby 13
Senior Goalkeeper Connor Garzone stood tall between the pipes with eleven saves in win against Colby.

SUNY Maritime 20, Merchant Marine 16
Our Express Alumni had a huge impact for both teams this game. Patrick Schnell had a five point performance including four goals and an assist. Face-off specialist Joe Bruno was all over the stat sheet this game which included a goal, an assist, twenty-one face-off wins, and nine ground-balls. Grant Gifford dished out an assist for SUNY Maritime as well. Defenseman Michael Valentine IV dominated on defense for Merchant Marine with two ground-balls and had four caused turnovers.

Muhlenberg 17, Washington College 10

Attackman Ryan May had a great game with a five point performance. This included two goals and three assists. Liam Ledwith found the back of the net as well for Muhlenberg. Goal-keeper Stephen Krug stood tall in net with ten saves in win over Washington.

Wabash 15, Augustana 4
Midfielder Sam Santiago had a goal and an assist in win over Augustana.

Saint John Fisher 14, Geneseo 13
Our Geneseo Express Alumni and a great overall performance this game. William McCumiskey posted a hat trick. Robert Boniello had two goals and Jimmy Atkinson found the back of the net once in game against Saint John Fisher.

Scranton 16, Goucher 8
Senior Midfielder Joe Boyle off the back of the net for the Royals. Freshman defenseman Connor Cole had a great game as well picking up two ground-balls and two caused turnovers in win over Goucher.
