Division I:
Notre Dame (Kavanagh Brothers) –> @benamps_ on instagram
Notre Dame 13 , Maryland 12 (3OT)
Kavanagh Brothers once again had another thriller of a performance for the number two ranked Fighting Irish. Chris Kavanagh (Chaminade ’21) tallied 3 on the day, including a crease dive goal that tied up the game to force overtime. Pat Kavanagh (Chaminade ’18) had 2 assists and a walk-off game winner in triple overtime. In the pipes, goalkeeper Liam Entenmann (Chaminade ’19) had 14 saves on the day. Another Chaminade product Reilly Gray (Chaminade ’19) added a goal from the midfield to help add to the fire for this fantastic win for Notre Dame over a talented Maryland team. Will Lynch (Chaminade ’21) at the Face-off X had 11 wins on the day, and a caused turnover.

Duke 14, Syracuse 13 (OT)
Charles Balsamo (Chaminade ’22) with a great shot down the right alley, to clinch the game winner for the Blue Devils over Cuse in over time. The Chaminade native has been having himself a great rookie season so far. Balsamo finished the game with 2 goals, 1 assist, and 3 ground balls in the historic win. Charles helped Duke win in the Carrier Dome for the first time in Coach Danowski’s coaching carrier.

Cornell 16, Ohio State 13
Two Freshman standout’s for the Buckeyes, Dillon Magee (Lovejoy ’22) and Matt Caputo (LuHi ’22) each had 2 goals on the day. For Cornell, freshman face-off man Jack Cascadden (Garden City ’22) has been having himself a year. Including his performance this weekend with a 10 Face-off win’s from the X. He also had a quick goal off the face and 5 ground-balls to help the Big Red take the win over Ohio State.
Drexel 12, Sacred Heart 11
The St. Anthony’s product and goal keeper for Sacred heart, Alex Pazienza (St. Anthony’s ’20) had a great day for the Pioneers with 17 saves, having a 59% save percentage. Jack Ramsey (St. Anthony’s ’21) had to 2 caused turnovers for the Pioneers Defense, as well as a ground-ball. Johnny Morgan (New Fairfield ’19) had a 4 point performance, 2 goals and 2 assists, from up top at the midfield.
Providence 17, Fairfield 10
Will Snyder (St. Anthony’s ’22) had a great performance to help Fairfield’s defense, with 17 Saves on the day. Rob Moore (West Hampton ’21) added a goal with 2 assists for the Stags. Stephen Markowski (Haborfield’s ’21) had 2 goals and an assist down at attack for Providence to help them beat Fairfield.
Villanova 15, Hofstra 8
The St. Anthony’s alumni and long stick midfielder Danny Desanti ( St. Anthony’s ’16) had a pole-goal for the Pride against Villanova.
Brown 17, Stony Brook 12
Coming off earning CAA “Player of the Week”, Stony Brook’s star attack man Dylan Pallonetti (Ward Melville ’19) had another great performance with 3 goals and 2 assists for the Seawolves against Brown.
Boston 14, Colgate 8
2023 Tewaarton Award Watchlist candidate Roy Meyer (Chaminade ’19) had 1 goal, 2 ground-balls, and 3 takeaways to help the Terriers in a win against Colgate this past weekend. Jimmy O’Connell (Cary ’21) added an assist down at attack.
Georgetown 13, Princeton 10
Georgetowns first win of the year was backed by two of our alumni. Michael Scharfenberger (Deerfield ’21) had a fantastic game in net. The starting goal keeper had 15 saves, going 60% for the Hoyas. On the offensive side of the ball, Declan McDermott (Pleasantville ’18) tallied 3 goals in this game. For Princeton, face-off man Tyler Sandoval (Chaminade ’19) had 9 wins at the X, adding a ground-ball as well.
Dartmouth 11, Siena 8
Long Island native Tommy Rogan (Chaminade ’19) had an assist to help Dartmouth offense in win over Siena.
Penn State 15, UPenn 9
Chase Mullins (Bullis ’22) and the Nittany Lions had a great rivalry win this past weekend! Mullins went 19 for 29 from the X, including 8 ground-balls to help dominate possession for Penn State. Ethan Costanzo (Taft ’22) had a ground-ball and 3 wins for UPenn.
Air Force 14, Mercer 8
Ethan Grandolfo (Fairfield Prep ‘19) had a great performance for the Falcons with 3 goals, 2 assists, and a ground-ball. Tommy Hellman (Darien ’19) got a ground-ball in the win for Air Force against Mercer.
Division II:
Roberts Wesleyan 10, Assumption 7
After Receiving NE-10 “Goalie of the Week”, Colin Malone ( St. John the Baptist ’20) continues to be a force in net for the Greyhounds. Malone had 16 saves, having a save percentage of 62%.
Division III:
Williams 16, Trinity 6
Ian DiPietro (Trinity HS ’19) had a great day for Williams Men’s Lacrosse at long stick midfield with 8 ground-balls and 2 caused turnovers in the win against Trinity this past weekend.
Ithaca 13, Geneseo 12
William McCumiskey (Chaminade ’19) had himself a day for the Knights with 1 goal and an assist, as well as a ground-ball. Robert Boneillo (Division Avenue ’20) added 2 assists and 3 ground balls for Geneseo’s offense as well in a tough double overtime battle.
Salve Regina 15, Merchant Marine 11
The Massapequa product, Michael Valentine IV (Massapequa ’22) had a strong day on defense with 3 caused turnovers, adding 4 ground-balls as well. For Salve Regina, Chris McCabe (St. Anthony’s ’22) had 2 takeaways and a ground-ball to help the Seahawks take the win.
Ohio Wesleyan 13, North Central 12
Garret Smith (Hamilton Southeastern ’22) with a 3 goal performance and a ground-ball for the Battling Bishops, in a close matchup against North Central.
