Express Alumni Report Volume 6

DIVISION I

Notre Dame 19, Michigan 9
Senior Attackman Chris Kavanagh led the Irish offense once again with a goal and seven assist on the day. His brother Pat Kavanagh had a great game as well with two goals and four assists. Midfielder Will Angrick found the back of the net for a tally. Will Lynch won six face-offs against the Wolverines. In net, Liam Entenmann and Alex Zepf both stood tall for the Notre Dame defense. Liam had fourteen saves and Alex Zepf stopped two shots in win over Michigan.

Sacred Heart 14, Manhattan 12

Senior Midfielder Morgan Oโ€™Reilly dominated for the Pioneers with four goals and an assist this game. Senior Goalkeeper Alex Pazienza had a great game with fourteen saves going fifty-four percent against the Manhattan offense. Defenseman Jack Ramsay managed to scoop up two groundballs and have a caused turnover.

Ohio State 16, Detroit Mercy 10
Sophomore Midfielder Matt Caputo dominated for the Buckeyes with three goals in win over Detroit Mercy.

Lafayette 17, Holy Cross 8
Express Alumni Matt Major and Jude Lynch each notched two goals in game against Lafayette.

Richmond 17, Bucknell 5
Freshman Midfielder Gavin Creo form Chaminade High School scored a goal in win over Bucknell.

UNC 16, Wagner 4
Senior Attackman Logan McGovern had a fantastic game for the Tar-Heels offense finding the back of the net once and dishing out seven assists in win over Wagner.

Duke 21, Providence 6
Sophomore Midfielder Charles Balsamo found the back of the net and dished out an assist in dominating win over Providence for Duke Men’s Lacrosse.

Penn State: 13, Marquette 7
Face-off specialist Chase Mullins dominated at the dot for the Nittany Lions with eleven wins on the day and managed to scoop up eight groundballs in win over Marquette.

Boston U 12, Loyola 10
Long-stick Midfielder Roy Meyer scooped up five groundballs and had two caused turnovers to help maintain possession for the Terriers in win over Loyola.

UNC 12, Stony Brook 8
Senior Attackman Dylan Pallonetti continues to stand out for the Seawolves offense with three goals against a strong Tar-Heels defense. For North Carolina, Logan McGovern posted two goals and an assist in win over Stony Brook.

DIVISION II

Lander 13, Anderon (SC) 12 (OT)
Matthew Rodgers absolutely dominated for Anderson in this game with a career high six goals and an assist in overtime thriller against Lander.

UIndy 11, Rollins 7
Midfielder Beau Howard had a great game finding the back of the net and dishing out an assist in win over a great Rollins squad.

Adelphi 12, Bentley 9
Sophomore Midfielder Kyle Lewis notched two assists in win over Bentley. Lewis currently has eleven points on the season including eight goals and three assists.

Assumption 12, Georgian Court 11
Senior Goalie Colin Malone stood tall in net for Assumption with ten saves in win over Georgian Court.

DIVISION III

Geneseo 17, SUNY Maritime 11
Express Alumni Jimmy Atkinson and William McCumiskey took over for the Geneseo offense this game each notching three goals and three assist this game. Robert Boniello also had a hat trick in win over SUNY Maritime. Patrick Schnell dished out two assists for the Maritime offense.

Wesleyan 13, Williams 10
Cardinal Alex Moynihan notched two goals in win over Williams.

Wabash 18, Hanover 8
Wabash midfielder Sam Santiago found the back of the net twice in win over Hanover.

RIT 16, Tufts 11
Senior Goalkeeper Connor Garzone continues to be a major factor for the Tufts defense capturing fifteen saves in game against RIT.

Muhlenberg 12, Cortland 10
Muhlenbergโ€™s Ryan May notched a goal and an assist against Cortland. Goalkeeper Stephen Krug continues to stand tall in net with eleven saves in this game.

Nazareth 16, Ohio Northern 9
Nazareth midfielder Brendan Regan found the back of the net in win over Ohio Northern.

Merchant Marine 19, Southwestern 14
Defenseman Michael Valentine IV had four caused turnovers and scooped up a groundball in win over Southwestern.
