It was another standout week for Long Island Express alumni, with impressive performances across Division I, II, and III. Our players made their presence felt on both ends of the field, contributing to big wins for their respective teams.

Owen West had a stellar performance, scoring 3 goals and providing 3 assists. His efforts earned him the title of Rookie of the Week for the America East Conference.

Denis Fargione made 10 saves with a 56% save percentage in Villanova’s victory. His outstanding performance earned him Freshman of the Week honors in the Big East Conference.

Chris Kavanagh recorded 2 goals, 2 assists, 2 ground balls, and 1 caused turnover. Will Angrick added 1 assist and 1 ground ball. Will Lynch dominated faceoffs with 8 FO wins and 4 ground balls.

Alex Pazienza was exceptional in goal, making 12 saves with a 63% save percentage. He was named Defensive Player of the Week in the MAAC Conference. Jack Ramsay contributed with 3 ground balls.

Jack Cascadden excelled once again, scoring 1 goal, winning 19 faceoffs, and collecting 13 ground balls in a comprehensive victory for Cornell.

Jacksonville 11, Queens 6
Queens Goalie Nicky West played a solid game in goal, making 11 saves with a 50% save percentage.
Ohio State 14, Johns Hopkins 10
Dillon Magee recorded 1 assist in Ohio State’s victory. Jack Monfort contributed with 2 ground balls and 1 caused turnover for the Blue Jays.
Lehigh 10, Holy Cross 6
Jude Lynch scored 1 goal in Lehigh’s win over Holy Cross.
Fairfield 14, Hofstra 10
Ryan Kiernan had a strong defensive performance with 3 ground balls and 2 caused turnovers.
DIVISION II
Mercy 23, District of Columbia 3
Jimmy Osorio was a key contributor, scoring 5 goals and adding 1 assist. Connor Abrahall also contributed with 2 goals and 1 assist.
Lander 16, Montevallo 13
Michael Mattaliano had a standout game with 4 goals and 1 assist in Lander’s victory.
Saint Anslem 9, Adelphi 6
Kyle Lewis played a vital role with 1 goal and 2 assists for Adelphi.
Anderson (SC) 22, Catawba 13
Matthew Rodgers contributed with 1 goal and 1 assist in Anderson’s commanding win.
Rollins 11, Palm Beach Atlantic 10
Nicholas Johnson made a defensive impact with 1 caused turnover for Palm Beach Atlantic.
DIVISION III
Muhlenberg 14, Washington College 8
Liam Ledwith was the standout player, scoring 5 goals to lead Muhlenberg to victory.
Geneseo 24, Russell Sage 5
Jimmy Atkinson had an excellent performance with 4 goals in Geneseo’s dominant win.
RIT 20, Skidmore 12
Mike Aiello contributed with 2 goals in game against RIT.
U. New England 13, Nichols 8
Chris Gottlieb had a strong defensive game, collecting 4 ground balls and causing 3 turnovers.
Geneseo 10, Brockport 2
Jimmy Atkinson scored 1 goal and provided 1 assist in Geneseo’s win.
Kean 12, SUNY Maritime 11
Joseph Bruno was dominant at the faceoff circle with 16 wins and 4 ground balls.
Merchant Marine 13, SUNY Maritime 7
Joseph Bruno had another strong performance, winning 14 faceoffs and collecting 6 ground balls. Michael Valentine IV added 1 ground ball and 4 caused turnovers.
Tufts 15, Williams 4
Conner Garzone was exceptional in goal, recording 9 saves with an 82% save percentage in Tufts’ victory.
Tufts 20, Wesleyan 19 (OT)
Connor Garzone made 6 saves in the thrilling overtime victory.
Scranton 15, Catholic 9
Carsen Kirchner played a key role with 21 saves and a 70% save percentage in the win.
Scranton 17, Lycoming 7
Carsen Kirchner made 8 saves with a 62% save percentage. Connor Cole contributed with 4 ground balls and 1 caused turnover.
Ohio Wesleyan 14, PePauw 3
Garrett Smith provided an assist in Ohio Wesleyan’s win.
